A crisis can be life-threatening or jarring to the child’s senses which can result in trauma. A crisis may occur in a world or local event. Or, it may be something that a child faces in what should be non-threatening experiences (attending school, family life, navigating friendships) and yet fall into the category of “crisis”.
Prepping children for a crisis is at the top of the list of things to do as a family in preparation for a crisis. Suggested age range is 3 -4 years to adulthood.
